This measure, which is a part of the Government of Canada’s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan, would support businesses that are hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and would help protect the jobs Canadians depend on during these difficult times.
We all need to be there for our communities – especially during difficult times.
If you are a Canadian manufacturer or business that can assist Canada in meeting the need for medical supplies, your help is needed. Our government is has introduced new measures to directly support businesses to rapidly scale up production or re-tool their manufacturing lines to develop products made in Canada that will help in the fight against COVID-19.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister announced a total of $82 billion in support measures to support small businesses, workers and their families.
First and foremost, we are asking all Canadians that are able to STAY HOME. We understand this is not possible for everyone, but we ask that everyone practise social distancing as much as possible to reduce the spread of infection and reduce the strain on our healthcare system.
