From celebrating Thai-Pongal in my riding, Markham-Thornhill, to meetingTamil-Canadians at the National Council of Canadian’s Annual Dinner, to interacting with Tamil Entrepreneurs Organisation thatsupports entrepreneurs and business leaders who are new to Canada by creating connections and opportunities. I have learned so much more about this vibrant community and the organizations that work hard to preserve Tamil culture and language for the generations to come.
Today is the second anniversary of the fatal shooting at the Centre culturel islamique de Québec in Ste-Foy. On this solemn anniversary, let’s join Canadians across the country to remember and honour those who were taken from us too soon.
