I love meeting and chatting with the movers and shakers in our communities. Thank you to all the ACCE Board members for the engaging conversation last night, and thank you for your all your work and dedication to Chinese Canadian entrepreneurs over the past 25 years.
As the Member of Parliament for Markham- Thornhill, Canada’s high tech Capital, which has a large and dynamic Chinese-Canadian community, I have seen firsthand the benefits of diversity and inclusion on our strong local economy and in our thriving community spaces.
I understand how challenging it can be for young entrepreneurs to start up, scale up and access new markets.
To assist young professionals, our government created a one-stop shop called Innovation Canada that provides innovators and entrepreneurs with a tailored list of tools, programs, and services to help them start and scale their business.
While it is fundamentally important that the government continues to support new entrepreneurs as they transition to the life in business, it is also important for community organizations, like ACCE, to come together in support of those who are new to business.
